About me

• I live in Todmorden, nestled within the beautiful Calder Valley of West Yorkshire (in the United Kingdom). I'm fairly confident I have yet to have been abducted by aliens...
• I'm really into artisan long-ferment bread-making 🍞.
• Proud adopted dad to Wendy, the friendliest Pembroke Welsh Corgi you could hope to meet.
• I work as the Head of Digital, and part of the Leadership Team, at the awesome Chatter Communications in Leeds. We're a multi-award-winning Employer Brand agency, building careers websites, chatbots and digital products for some of the UK's most well known businesses and brands.
• I've previously worked for web companies in various fields, including e-commerce platforms, architecting & building large-scale recruitment & assessment platforms, and also freelanced producing tech for some fun (award winning) digital experiential things like a twitter-connected cake that produced edible tweets and the worlds first selfie camera for dogs (where the dog takes it's own photo).
• I'm also pretty handy with a camera 📷 - I briefly freelanced as a photographer, and once won a national photography competition run by the National Trust & the Sunday Times newspaper. These days I stick to photography for fun, and licence stock photos through Getty Images ).
